Company
Dana Walden is a conceptual jewelry line for people who appreciate unique design and meticulous craftsmanship.
We are a husband and wife design team based in Brooklyn, with a workshop
in the foothills of western Maine. Our philosophy is
simple - we strive to bring you original creations with the artistic
integrity you rightfully expect. We personally design each piece from
initial concept to finished work of art.
Dana
Walden jewelry is based on concepts that intrigue us, with interests
ranging from New York City street culture to the wrought iron sculptures
of Antoni Gaudi. These divergent influences come to life through our
jewelry, using free-style design methods and traditional metal-smithing
techniques. In short, we like making cool things and jewelry is our
preferred vehicle of expression.
Our
jewelry has received accolades from a wide range of publications,
including Harper's Bazaar, Lucky, WWD and New York Magazine’s Wedding
Guide. In addition to designing pieces for major commercials and
editorials, we have had the honor of collaborating with some of
fashion's top stylemakers, including Geren Ford and Doo.Ri.
Whether
our jewelry reflects our penchant for sculpture or merely satisfies our
inherent need to paint on stuff, it is always thoughtful and
expressive. We hope that our designs become your unique vessels of
symbolism and creativity.
